How do I get paid?
Once a referral reward is qualified, our finance team will communicate directly with you to deploy your reward. Payment may be issued via bank transfer, ACH, wire transfer, or another payment method as deemed appropriate by Acquire.com.
Who can I refer?
You can refer anyone you want so long as they and their business meet the qualifying criteria above. If they don’t meet the qualifying criteria, you can still refer them, but you won’t earn a reward. For more information, please read the Acquire.com referral program terms and conditions.
Is there a limit to referrals?
There are no caps on the amount of referrals you can make. So long as your referee and their business meet the qualifying criteria, and they sell within 24 months of you referring them, you’ll get paid the referral reward.
Can I refer multiple founders at once?
Yes, you can – email your list of referrals to referral@acquire.com. Each of your referees and their businesses must still meet the qualifying criteria individually, however.
When will I receive my reward?
You’ll receive 25% of the closing fee once your referral’s acquisition is finalized and all required fees have been paid in full. Payment timelines can vary based on the specific details of the deal, but we aim to process rewards within 60 days after all requirements are met.
What if my referral doesn’t sell?
If your referral doesn’t end up selling, you won’t earn a referral reward.
Do I need an Acquire.com account to refer?
An Acquire.com account is not required to refer.
Can I refer someone with an existing account?
No, the Acquire.com referral program only rewards you for referring founders who’ve not had an Acquire.com account in the past two years. Completely new customers and anyone outside of that two-year limit is okay.
What if my referral’s deal is delayed?
We give your referee two years to close their sale for you to get the referral rewards. With most acquisitions closing within 90-180 days, that’s more than enough time to cover potential delays. We recommend your referee works closely with our M&A team to avoid delays and maximize value.
